Hello friends, I'm changing gears once again for this blog post. I will post about the stuff I did in Writing & Computers this week tomorrow, but there are a few news updates that I feel I need to share.

For Halloween my friends and I got together and went to the Waffle House, checked out downtown Spartanburg, and went to a play. The play? Converse College's "The Anointing of Dracula". There was a midnight showing on Halloween at Converse's Hazel B. Abbott Theatre. Tickets were $4 for students and $8 for adults. The play was well-written, well-acted, and the costume design was great. This play was intended for mature audiences, so be prepared to be in for a thrill. Hopefully they will have this play again next year!

There was one dark spot in my Halloween night. I got a ticket for parking too close to the entrance of Converse (the entrance which faces East Main Street). Friends if you are going somewhere you may not go to often (particularly a college you do not go to), either look for a larger parking lot, look for approved visitor parking spaces online, or visit the campus safety office and have them give you a pamphlet of parking areas for visitors.
I will be back tomorrow with updates from Writing & Computers!
